Overview of The Study
This study took place from Fall 2023 through Summer 2024, and included several tasks included the following tasks:
- Identify and assess advanced roadside technologies that have the capacity to increase safety and compliance on Washington State’s toll roads and HOV lanes, and in construction zones.
- Provide supporting legal and financial analysis that supports future policy and funding choices by the Legislature regarding testing and implementation of such technologies.
