US 2 Trestle Capacity Improvements & Westbound Trestle Replacement Update

The US 2 Trestle in Snohomish County is the only direct highway route across the Snohomish River to Interstate 5. The US 2 Trestle Capacity Improvements & Westbound Trestle Replacement project began with a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study that started in 2023 and will be completed this year. The Commission will be briefed on the study’s recommendations along with the feedback gathered.

Washington State Ferry Fare and Tariff Process

Request to Advance Planned SR 99 Tunnel Rate Adjustment – ACTION

The Commission’s current toll regulation for the SR 99 Tunnel includes planned toll rate increases of 3% every three years, starting in 2022. The planned rate increase for this year will take effect on July 1, 2025, pending Commission approval.

Puget Sound Regional Council Regional Safety Action Plan

The Puget Sound Regional Council has developed a Regional Safety Action Plan designed to support and achieve the state’s long-term goal of zero deaths and serious injuries. The effort aims to improve traffic safety in the central Puget Sound region in a comprehensive, data-informed, equitable, and collaborative way. The Commission will be briefed on the plan and regional safety priorities.
