Washington State Ferries – Charting a New Course

The CEO of Washington State Ferries (WSF) will provide insights into his vision and plans for the future of WSF. WSF staff will also share findings of a recently completed study exploring the possibility of utilizing the GoodToGo! account system at the Fauntleroy Terminal to provide more automation to the fare payment system.

Mobility Wallet: Transit Innovations in Los Angeles

An overview of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s Mobility Wallet program will be shared. The program, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority, provides subsidies that qualified residents can use for transportation services, including public transit, ride-share programs, micromobility options, taxis, and purchases at bike shops.

Update on the Lower Snake River Dam Study

Presenter: Jim Mahugh, Lower Snake River Dam Study Lead, Washington State Department of Transportation

An update will be given on WSDOT’s legislatively directed study of the Snake River from Clarkston to Pasco containing four dams (Ice Harbor, Lower Monumental, Little Goose and Lower Granite). This study includes an analysis of highway, road and freight rail transportation needs, options, and impacts of shifting the movement of freight and goods that currently move by barge to truck and rail.

World Cup 2026: Planning & Preparing for Transportation Demands and Impacts

Seattle and the surrounding region are preparing to host the 2026 World Cup, with Lumen Field serving as the venue for six soccer matches in June and July. This presentation will provide an overview of preparations underway.
