WSDOT Toll Equity Study

The presentation will discuss findings of the University of Washington TRAC Center’s recent study designed to inform the equity impacts of WSDOT toll facilities on low-income communities. This follows up a prior study by the TRAC Center of equity impacts of the I-405 express toll lanes.

Metro Flex: On Demand Transit Services

An overview will be provided on King County Metro’s new program “Metro Flex,” an on-demand, neighborhood transit service that will unite three current services — Community Ride, Ride Pingo to Transit, and Via to Transit. King County Metro will discuss this program and its work to ensure easy and equitable access to transit options for everyone.

Reconnecting South Park in Seattle

In February 2023, USDOT awarded the City of Seattle $1.6 million for “Reconnect South Park” based on a Community Vision Plan developed by local residential, business, and industrial communities. This presentation will provide an update on this project.

Road Usage Charge Update

Naming Proposal for Riffe Lake Overlook – ACTION

The Transportation Commission names all transportation facilities, including scenic overlooks. The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners is proposing to name an overlook located at Riffe Lake, near Morton on US 12, after the late Lewis County Commissioner Gary Stamper.
