Update: I-405/SR 167 Express Toll Lane Low-Income Tolling Study

Presenter: Carl See, Deputy Director, Washington State Transportation Commission

At the direction of the Legislature, the Commission is conducting a study of potential low-income tolling discount options for the I-405/SR 167 Express Toll Lanes corridor. An update on the study schedule and next steps for the finalization of the report will be discussed.

Washington State Ferry Fare Rate Proposal – ACTION

Every two years, the Commission assesses needed adjustments to ferry fares to ensure compliance with revenue expectations set by the Legislature in the biennial Transportation Budget. WSF staff will provide their fare change recommendations. A member of the FAC-T will also share thoughts and preferences for possible fare changes, resulting from the FAC-T fare review process. Commission staff will share an overview of the public input gathered since the launch of the Commission’s online ferry fare public comment forum on May 28th.

Update: 2021 Toll Rate Setting Preparations

Further information will be provided regarding toll rate increases on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and the SR 99 tunnel this fall, as well as future toll rate adjustments on the SR 520 bridge to ensure financial requirements are met, per bond covenants.
