• I-5 Bridge Over the Columbia River: The bi-state toll rate and policy setting process is underway between the Washington State and Oregon Transportation Commissions.

Recent Actions

• Low Income Toll Discount Program: On July 21, 2026, the Transportation Commission approved a low income toll discount program for the SR 509 and SR 167 Expressways. More details can be found on the Low Income Toll Discount Program page.
• New Administrative Toll Fees Language:  On July 21, 2026, the Transportation Commission approved adjustments to various current administrative toll fees. More details can be found on the Adjusting Tolling Administrative Fees page.
• Bridge Naming Request: The Commission took action on the requested bridge naming on April 22, 2026 adopting Resolution No. 756 designating the US 395/North Spokane Corridor Bridge above Wandermere Road the Lieutenant/Paramedic Cody Scott Traber Memorial Bridge.
• Revised Toll Setting Process: The Transportation Commission revised its toll setting process per legislative action.
• Extending Martin Luther King Jr. Way: The Commission took action at its meeting on December 10th, 2025 adopting Resolution No. 755 extending the current Martin Luther King Jr. Way naming from South Seattle down to Kent, WA.
