OLYMPIA - During April, the Washington State Transportation Commission will be surveying ferry riders about their opinions on fares, schedules, congestion pricing, transit connections, general satisfaction with Washington State Ferries, etc. The information collected will influence critical decisions at the state level that will impact ferry riders throughout the system in the coming years.
The survey was launched on Thursday April 8th and will remain open through April 30th. During this timeframe, riders can complete the survey in three different ways:
Members of the Ferry Rider’s Opinion Group (F.R.O.G.) panel will be prompted via email to go to the F.R.O.G web site to complete the survey.
Riders who are not currently a member of the panel but want to join the F.R.O.G. and participate in this and future surveys can do so by going directly to the survey web site at: http://www.ferryridersopiniongroup.com/public
Riders who are not interested in becoming a panel member but do want to participate in this particular survey can take the survey on-line by going to the following web site: http://www.ferryridersopiniongroup.com/april
To ensure the survey also captures the opinions of occasional and recreational riders, a shortened version of the survey in hard-copy form will be circulated on-board select ferry sailings during the month. If you would like to request the hard-copy survey be sent to you, just contact the Commission offices at 360.705.7070 or email them at: email@example.com
Participation in the research is voluntary. Individual survey responses will be kept confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes. The Commission would like to encourage all ferry customers to join the F.R.O.G. and play a role in WSF’s future.
