Transportation Innovative Partnerships
The Commission is statutorily required to oversee certain aspects of the
WSDOT's Transportation Innovative Partnerships Program, including: approving
and reviewing contracts, adopting rules to implement and govern the program,
solicit concepts or proposals for eligible projects, and select potential
projects based on the proposals received (SHB
1541).
To ensure the Commission is able to focus and remain fully engaged throughout
the course of its responsibilities over this program, the Commission appointed
three of its members to serve on a team that is responsible for overseeing
the detailed development of the rules for this program.
